Tulisan ini berusaha menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan memiliki dampak positif bagi karyawan dan organisasi. Ada keyakinan kuat bahwa pelatihan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan. Dengan melibatkan karyawan dalam pelatihan dan pengembangan, mereka dapat mencapai tingkat kepuasan yang lebih tinggi, sementara manajer dapat membuat keputusan yang lebih baik. Akibatnya, pelatihan memiliki dampak positif pada kinerja dan mobilitas karyawan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pelatihan dalam suatu organisasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja secara keseluruhan peningkatan kompetensi karyawan.
